Farro

Popular in Italy, farro is an ancient heirloom variety of wheat with a nutty flavor and firm, satisfyingly chewy texture. Combine cooked, cooled farro with creamy pesto sauce and top with grilled shrimp and feta cheese for a delicious main, or add it to soups and salads.

Grano

Grano

Grano, which means "grain" in Italian, is a variety of lightly pearled durum wheat that has been grown in Italy for centuries. Grano cooks to a pleasant al dente texture and is excellent in pilafs and soups. Toss with beans, dried tomatoes and herbs for a hearty main.

Also known as Asian barley, Job’s Tears is a member of the grass family and is closely related to corn. These unique ancient grains have a sweet, toasty flavor and a tender cooked texture. Add Job's Tears to soups of all kinds and rice salads.
