Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 6 Boneless Chicken Thighs

  • 1 cup Buttermilk

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/4 cup Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning

  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour

  • 6 small biscuits or Hawaiian rolls

  • Bread and Butter Pickles

  • Caramelized Onion

  • 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp water

Directions

  1. In a stainless bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs,and 1 TBSP of the Nashville Seasoning. 

    Add the chicken thighs, and let sit for at least 3 hours or overnight.

  2. Meanwhile, mix the water and 1 TBSP of the WF Nashville seasoning. Add to the Tennessee Barbeque Sauce, and let sit for one hour

  3. Mix the AP flour with the remaining ¼ cup of the Nashville Seasoning. Drain the buttermilk mix off of the chicken thighs, and dredge in seasoned flour shaking off excess.

  4. Heat frying oil to 350F, and blanch the chicken thighs until golden brown. Finish in a 350F oven until cooked through

  5. Serve each breast on desired rolls, accompany with caramelized onions, pickles, potato chips and the Nashville BBQ sauce on the side.
